Finishing as fast as I can!

A part of me wishes I would quilt faster.

Then ...I realize I really enjoy quilting, and I do not want to rush them.

I have managed to get a few quilts done this week and I am excited to share them with you.
This is a Garden Bliss Quilt that was from one of the nice ladies that took my class at the Parish. She made hers in flannel, and I thought the swirls would be good for the light background. ...I loved this quilt. Wow, it is so soft!  I used the wool batting and she used flannel, this is one soft and cozy quilt.

Here is a closeup of the quilting.
Just look how soft the quilt looks, the flannel was a nice touch. I really like the quilting on the back and then the feathered wreath is nice for keeping the quilting a little loose and not so compact.
The back was so cool. She selected a solid brown flannel. I was a little concerned at first, and then. Wow, it just looked like leather tooling. How textured and soft. Thanks for letting me quilt this. I always enjoy the opportunity.

And then the Sun Bonnet Sue, I was afraid of. Why? I always wonder why after I get them finished. This is a quilt that is a rescue. My customer repairs old quilts, and this one is something I think she found as just blocks. and now look :) it is a complete quilt, just waiting for some binding.
This customer requested not a lot of quilting? I am afraid of that. I always quilt the quilts like I would like them, but...I toned it down a bit. If this were mine I would have put a background fill or crosshatching on it.
And this is the whole quilt.
...and a closeup!
And the Very Hungry Caterpillar! This is a very cute quilt.

If you look real close, you may be able to see the swirls in the marble fabric.
I had to pebble the background of the borders! Had to!
This turned out so cute! Thanks to Kathy, she let me quilt it, and I had a good time finishing it.
Her is how I am filling my free time....Snow Happy, a bucket of snowballs is from Bunny Hill, and I am almost finished with it. What a wonderful project and so fast. I just might get the wool applique bug?
That's it for now and check back later. I have a pretty cool quilt on and I should take about a week to finish it. I can't wait.  Check back soon and I should have it finished.
Thanks - Star
