So many quilts... so little time

I have been running with scissors for about a month. I just keep trying to get more of my customer quilts finished before the holidays. I just have a new pace since my illness this summer... I think I am a bit slower, but I hope my customers think that I have improved. Here is a quick look at some of the quilts that I have finished this month.

This is a Tree of Life quilt for my customer, and it took a little longer than expected, but... somehow they all are taking longer than expected. Just look at how the quilt turned out, I am so happy with this quilt. I hope my customer will like it.

This is a close-ups of some of the wreaths that I quilted on the alternate blocks, and ... I also liked the way the stars quilted up. Wow, what a pop with the wool batting.

You have to love this angle and how the quilting just pops. And of course... my finger is a great attribute for the photograph.

I love to take photos of the quilts when they are on the frame... They just looks so cool with the light coming in the window and lighting up the stitching on the quilt.

I took a quick shot at making a little table runner out of a pack of "Candies" from Moda. I choose the new Fig Tree Quilts fabric... Tapestry.

Isn't this just the cutest little table runner. Okay maybe it is a little bit small? but what else can you do with a 2" triangle. :)

And here I have a couple photos of the Return to Romance quilt. I just love the way I do the alternate blocks. I need to get my butt in gear and finish it. I do love to quilt sample quilts. I just think the have so much to offer.

Here is a photo of one of the sampler blocks. Just look at the echoed shells... That is one of my favorite accents for the quilts.

Here is a quick little baby quilt I finished up earlier this month. The quilt was a great machine embroidery quilt, and I just love to quilt this kind of quilt. The customer wanted wool batting and the final product had the softest red Minky on the back. What a soft quilt I had to hand over to my customer after I finished the quilting, minky was a great idea. Marcia, I just want to say...thanks for letting me quilt this quilt. I enjoyed every minute of it, thanks.

Here is a quilt that looks different. It is a denim quilt. This is a quilt my customer made from her fathers pants after he passed. She wanted her fathers signature traced on the quilt, and I did my best tracing his name. She was very happy with the final product and it is always nice to have a customer that like the quilting. There is always more stress involved when the customer is so attached to the quilt, and it has so much sentimental value. Thanks for letting me quilt this. I really did honor the opportunity to quilt for you.

This is a Thimbleberries quilt I finished up for my customer. I thought I had a complete photo of the whole quilt, but these photos are good enough for now. (I hope)

On the frame.

Here is a quick swirl quilt, that my customer made for her grandson. I just love all the reasons and wonderful stories that are attached to all the quilts that I am so honored to quilt for you.

And now the moment Carol has been waiting for.... Moon Glow! on the frame and moving on with the rest of the great quilt. Here is a photo of the background that has a tight little swirl.
